me do something with it.
- a strict diet of memoirs to push me to work on mine
- The Autobiographer's Handbook, which all memoirists should read
- finally getting up the nerve to place a work phone call that's been haunting me for three months and having it go fairly well
- the fact that TWO things on this list were given to me by my soon-to-be-sister-in-law (right? that book was from you guys, right?) (the other is mint.com)
- being a New Yorker

i have to recommend “me as her again,” a memoir by nancy agabian. nancy is a bisexual armenian american writer and performance artist who is incisively observant, and incredibly funny (in a nerdy deadpan way). i’ve seen her read a lot of the work in the book, but am only just starting to read it and it’s a total pleasure. (in interest of full disclosure, she’s a friend of mine and i think she kicks ass).
Totally from us. And I’ll claim it as from me, since I’m the one who scored it with my sweet publishing connections.
OMG I could not function without mint. And I’m not even a full adult yet (hopefully before Valentine’s Day).
We love here, we miss New York.
We still view ourselves as ethnic New Yorkers.
Ethnic New Yorkers with mud on our boots.
The Ethicist is so great.
