weekend snippets

The best exhibit was one we stumbled into in which everything was made of cut paper. Indescribably cool. Then we had Better Burger soy burgers, which is always something to be happy about even if the baby was a crankpot by then and we rushed.
- Saturday, it rained in the middle of the day but when it was over, we jumped in the car and headed to Coney Island for the Aquarium. We’d never been there before but now we have the Zoo membership thing so it’s free. Beck loved it. Pics to be posted asap because they are fabulous. Afterward, we roamed the boardwalk and Beck danced in his stroller to the loud beach techno dance party and I ate nachos. The beach was totally uncrowded and pretty.
- Sunday, we met a friend in Williamsburg for coffee and went to her husband’s studio. Beck wore his most hipster shirt and was rewarded with the hipster art boys dancing and singing for him. There are pictures. It was surreal. Sometimes you meet men who love babies but these Wmsburg hipster boys REALLY loved him. Too cute. Then we went to the Children’s Museum in Manhattan and then we had Yolato, which is so good that I don’t care that I can’t figure out whether it is frozen yogurt or gelato or lowfat gelato or what. Oh well.

It was such a fun weekend. I adore you and love being with you, especially when you misbehave in the Children’s Museum.
That sounds like a wonderful weekend. I’m so jealous! We’ll have to do all of those things when I come to visit you.
sounds like a fabulous weekend… cannot wait for the pics to be posted
