the reveal
Posted: November 7, 2007 Filed under: Uncategorized 15 Comments »The first floor of our home (living room and kitchen and small bathroom) is now done! I spent today trying to unpack. Unpacking is considerably slower with a baby involved.
I wish I had good before pictures. Those who have been here understand the dramatic transformation.

That hole to the basement will be covered up tomorrow with a giant sheet of wood so basement construction/pipe replacement can begin.
And now… the hideous bathroom.
The before pics are here.
And now:

The world’s smallest sink – you’ll remember that I couldn’t fit by the one that was there before.

The shower was a perma-mildew fest and is now so, so pretty.

Had to show the contrast from old toilet to new.

Gorgeous! I can’t wait to see it in person.
Wow. It’s just lovely. I’m really happy for you–I know having some things finished in the house will improve life all-around. Yay.
a) Wow. And I thought MY bathroom was hideous. What a change! Lovely lovely tiles. And the Toto? Swish!
b)The kitchen is awesome. We’re almost finished with ours, just waiting a ridiculously long time for Hole Depot to put in the counter top. My new favorite hobby is to sit on the couch and stare at the kitchen. I am totally with you on the excitement thing. I like the light fixtures.
c) Unpacking is overrated.
WAHOOO!
Wow. Just. Wow.
Absolutely beautiful! Let me tell you, because I speak from experience, that you will just GRIN every time you used your cabinets.
Gorgeous!
wow. I guess this means that The Beck will no longer have a mini fridge in his room. Poor guy.
It looks amazing. You guys did such a great job designing it.
xoxo
I’m agog and aghast!
I can’t wait to see it in person, either.
And y’all are SO hired as our “architectural consultants” should we ever renovate!
Holy SHIT. Beyond words. Fabbity, fab, fab! Totally digging that itsy, bitsy sink.
Wow! What an amazing transformation. A good example of great design sense, planning and research, and tenacity. I love the little sink.
Beautiful work. Really really nice.
I love it! Especially the bathroom. LOVE IT!
