The fools! The optimistic freaks!
I really couldn’t believe it. It felt ridiculous to schedule my 12 week nuchal scan when I was 7.5 weeks along. But the audacity… the balls required to schedule a big, important appointment for 8 weeks from now…. Just like it was nothing! Just… normal!
So. strange.
OK. So guess what day we ended up scheduling the 20 week scan?

wow. That’s… an eerie coincidence.
Oddly enough the same thing happened to my husband and I. The due date for my first pregnancy was October 18, 2006 and they ended up scheduling the “big ultrasound” with this pregnancy on that very date. It was most definitely bittersweet to say the least but absolutely helped put a better memory on that date with everything working out.
Here’s an eerie one for you – my SIL is pregnant and going for her 12 week ultrasound on 2/21/07 – the same day I had the very bad ultrasound with my first pregnancy. Again, I’m hoping her ultrasound will put a positive memory on that date.
