Judgment Day
Posted: March 12, 2006 Filed under: Uncategorized 11 Comments »Wes and I had a huge job in trying to pick a winner for this week’s Photo Friday contest. We loved seeing all of your animals! More than 100 photos were submitted of all manner of cats, dogs, birds, pigs, donkeys, and various reptilian types. We sorted through the best we could, looking for photos that were particularly well-done – good composition AND cute pet. We know that everyone loves their pets and thinks they are the cutest animals on the planet. This is as it should be.

We love the look on Karma the dog’s face. And that kitten is just TOO cute. We felt this was an extremely expressive photo and loved how much of a story it told. We would like to know… are those feathers sticking out of Karma’s mouth or maybe… a little bit of kitten?

I loved this one to, because that tiny kitten looks like it is going to kick that big doggy’s ass, while the dog just has such an adorable long-suffering look on it’s face. Karma sort of looks like he would LET the kitten kick his ass, just to be indulgent.
I have no idea how you picked those out! I too love the karma picture – and I didn’t notice the feather thing until here… it does make me wonder!!

WOO-HOO! I wasn’t sure where to look for The Judgment until I hit upon Trista’s blog. So excited that our girls got Best Dog Photo; now that their racing days are over, perhaps we can launch them on a new career path…
OH MY FUCKING GOD! THANK YOU! We’ve had the most craptastic day today at the sperm bank thingy and this has absolutely cheered us up no end! I love you! Karma says thanks too – she’s snoring at my feet, pausing to look at me strangely for the joyous screaming coming from the chair. I feel like I won Miss World, but with no Vaseline on my teeth and no hairspray on my butt!
